Synopsis
a film point and shoot for iPhone. one tap captures a RAW DNG negative and develops a JPEG print with the loaded film's look, saved together as one photo.
Contact
email hello@miraisoft.io and a human answers. include your iPhone model and iOS version if it is about a bug.
Requirements
- iOS 17 or later.
- an iPhone whose camera supports RAW capture. the shutter only fires when a real RAW is possible on the current lens.
Getting Started
- grant camera access, and photo access so prints can save to your library.
- long press the viewfinder for quick settings: film, flash, timer, grid, geotag.
- tap the film window to browse the shop and load a different film.
- press the shutter. the print appears in your library developed, with the negative alongside.
By Design
- the viewfinder shows clean glass, not the look. the look exists only in the print, like film only shows itself after the lab.
- white balance is locked to daylight because film does not adapt. tungsten light prints warm on purpose.
- the film's box speed sets the ISO. there is no manual mode. it is a point and shoot.
Purchases
films are one-time purchases through the App Store, 99 cents each, yours forever. on a new phone, open the shop and tap restore. purchases live on your Apple ID, not with miraisoft.
Troubleshooting
- shutter grayed out: the current lens cannot deliver RAW. respooler will not fake a capture.
- indoor shots look orange: that is the daylight-locked film seeing tungsten light. it is the look, not a bug.
- a film shows as unavailable in the shop: the App Store did not answer. wait a moment and tap retry.
