Why

Film stocks, not presets

Most stocks are built from manufacturer datasheets and published spectral research. A few films with no published data borrow their physics from a matched stock and take their color from measured scans. The starting point is measurement, not taste.

Responds to your image

Halation, grain, and highlight rolloff are computed on top of whatever you opened. They sit where the image puts them, not where a static preset would.

Questions

What macOS do I need?
macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later. Apple silicon or Intel.
Does Milkglass phone home?
No analytics, no cloud, no account. The app has no network permission at all. The only traffic is the App Store license check the system makes at launch, and again if you use Restore Purchases.
