Service Description

Tenmei is a spot light meter app for iOS developed by Thomas Yokota (miraisoft). the app provides precision exposure metering, Zone System tools, reciprocity correction, and an exposure journal. all processing happens on your device.

In-App Purchase

Tenmei offers a free meter with an optional one-time purchase ("Tenmei Pro") that unlocks unlimited journal entries, reciprocity calculator, batch PDF export, and custom film stocks.

it is a one-time, non-consumable purchase — no subscription, no recurring charges

the purchase is family-shareable

miraisoft does not process payments directly. all billing is handled by Apple under their standard EULA.

Your Content

journal entries, voice memos, and exposure data you create with Tenmei are yours. miraisoft does not access, collect, or claim any rights to your data. everything stays on your device.

Metering Accuracy

Tenmei uses your iPhone's camera sensor for light metering. readings may vary from dedicated spot meters due to iPhone ISP tone mapping. the app provides a calibration offset for fine-tuning. miraisoft does not guarantee readings will match any specific external device.

Intellectual Property

the Tenmei app, including its metering algorithms, UI design, and underlying code, is the property of miraisoft. you may not extract, reverse-engineer, or redistribute them.

No Warranty

Tenmei is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. miraisoft does not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. use your judgment when making exposure decisions.

Limitation of Liability

to the maximum extent permitted by law, miraisoft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. this includes, but is not limited to, incorrect exposure data or missed shots.

Changes

these terms may be updated from time to time. changes will be posted at this URL with a revised date. continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
