tenmei — privacy policy

Tenmei is developed by Thomas Yokota (miraisoft). this policy describes how the app handles your information.
Tenmei does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with the developer or any third parties. there are no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no tracking pixels, nothing.
Tenmei uses the camera for the live viewfinder and light metering. all frames are processed entirely on-device to calculate exposure values. camera data is never uploaded, transmitted, or shared.
Tenmei optionally records GPS coordinates when saving journal entries. location data is stored locally on your device and is never uploaded or transmitted. you can disable location access in Settings at any time.
Tenmei optionally uses the microphone for voice memo attachments on journal entries. audio recordings are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded or transmitted.
the following data is stored locally on your device and never leaves it:
- journal entries — exposure readings, film stock, settings, GPS, notes, voice memos
- app preferences — calibration offset, spot size, night mode, film slot assignments
- custom film stocks — user-created film profiles
you can delete this data at any time within the app or by removing the app.
Tenmei contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind.
Tenmei offers a one-time in-app purchase managed entirely by Apple through the App Store. miraisoft does not process or store any payment information.
the app does not integrate with any third-party services. there is no cloud sync, no external APIs, no data leaving your device.
the app does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
