respooler is a film point and shoot camera for iPhone, published by miraisoft. this policy describes what data the app reads, writes, and transmits.
respooler does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. there are no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, no crash reporting upload, no account system, no telemetry of any kind.
respooler itself makes no outbound network calls.
film purchases and their receipts are handled by Apple's StoreKit, which talks to the App Store directly from your device. this traffic is between your Apple ID and Apple. no identifying data about you or your usage passes to miraisoft.
the camera feed is used to show the viewfinder and to capture the photo you take. frames stay on the device. nothing is captured until you press the shutter.
respooler asks for add-only access to your photo library: it can save the photos it takes, and it cannot read, browse, or modify anything already in your library. every capture is saved as one photo holding the developed JPEG print and the untouched DNG negative.
geotagging is a switch in quick settings and it is off by default. when you turn it on, the location where you shot is embedded in your own photo's metadata, the same way any camera geotags. it lives only inside your photo, in your library, under your control. respooler never transmits location anywhere.
the following lives on your phone and never leaves it:
- the loaded film and your owned films cache, so the camera opens ready.
- capture preferences: flash, self timer, grid, geotag switch.
all of it is stored in iOS UserDefaults. removing the app removes all of the above. purchases are recoverable through the App Store's restore mechanism.
none. respooler does not track you across other apps or websites. Apple's NSPrivacyTracking manifest key is set to false.
under Apple's privacy manifest rules, respooler declares this API category with the following reason code:
- UserDefaults, reason CA92.1 (app-internal preferences: the loaded film and capture settings)
this declaration describes internal use of a system API. nothing is transmitted off-device.
none. no cloud sync, no external APIs, no SDKs that phone home.
film purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. miraisoft does not see, process, or store payment information.
respooler is not directed at children under 13 and collects no information from any user.
updates to this policy will be posted at this URL with a revised date.
